Twins instructions

Step 1

The first step in setting up your independent twins is to decide weather you are going to put them on a backplate or on your BCD. The curved side goes to the tank cradle on your BCD. The channel side goes toward the high flat on a backplate.

Next thread the belts from back to front with the velcro towards the center of each tank. Double the band over toward the inside and insert buckle. Whern you are through they will look like this.

Step 2

Next locate the two grommet covered holes in the tank area of your BCD. They will be about 10mm or 3/8" in diameter, about 10" to 12"inches (28 cm)apart in the center of the tank plate on the BCD.
Sometimes they are under a back pad or belt.

Step 3

Next, put the large Stainless Steel washer on the 3/8" x 2" bolt.
Insert the bolt from the inside of the BCD thru the grommets to the tank cradle on the outside of your BCD. Remove belts or pads to do this.
Then install the bracket on the bolt and finish with annother large SS washer and the wing nut. The wing nut will be on the inside of the bracket at the rounded end.

Step4

Admire your handywork - your almost done!

Now you can thread the rest of the belts thru the brackets and size them to fit your tanks. You can use bigger tanks with a 1/4" wetsuit or rubber pad in the center of the tank cradle on the bracket.

Remember the bands will stretch when they get wet the first time,-tighten everything.
